Why I Built LinkAuthor?
I used to buy cheap backlinks for my own sites. Spent money for years. Nothing ranked. Then I figured something out. The links were not the real problem. My sites were not ready for them. Thin content. Weak on-page. Technical SEO issues. I fixed all of that first, then built links the right way. That's why LinkAuthor exists. I check your site before I build a single link.
- Site-First Approach
- Manual Outreach Only
- Long-Term Rankings
- Natural Link Profiles
How I Actually Work
Before I build any links, I go through your whole site. Content, on-page, technical SEO, backlink profile. If something is off, I tell you before you pay me. I wasted my own money on bad links so I won't let you do the same. Once your site is ready, I handle guest posting, outreach, and link placements myself.

From CPA Marketing to Running a Link Building Agency
I didn't start in link building. I was doing CPA marketing in 2013, buying cheap backlinks and hoping they'd work. They never did. I kept losing money until I realized the links weren't the problem. My sites were. That's how I ended up learning real SEO, and that's why LinkAuthor exists today.
Back in 2013 I started running CPA campaigns. Health offers, finance, dating, ecommerce, job offers. I was buying traffic from Google Ads, Bing Ads, native media buys, and trying to rank some of my sites through SEO. I had around 15 sites running at the same time.
But I didn't really understand SEO back then. I just knew backlinks were important. So from 2013 to 2017, I bought a lot of them. PBNs, cheap guest posts, random link sellers on Facebook groups and forums. I thought if I just got enough links my sites would rank. They didn't. Most of my sites were stuck on page 2 or 3. A couple got hit by Google updates and dropped completely. I kept spending money on links but traffic wasn't going anywhere.
Around 2017 I finally figured out what was actually wrong. My sites weren't good enough to rank. The content was weak. I barely knew what on-page SEO meant. Technical SEO? I didn't even check for crawl errors back then. I was spending money on links for sites that had real problems I wasn't fixing.
So I stopped buying links and started actually learning SEO properly. I read everything I could find online. Blogs from SEO experts, case studies, Google documentation. Content, on-page, technical SEO, E-E-A-T. I spent months going through all of it. No courses. No mentors. Just research and testing on my own sites.
This is the part that matters. I still run 4 blog sites today. I do all the SEO myself. On-page, off-page, technical, content. I publish regularly and I build links for them myself. I monetize them through Impact, Amazon Associates, AdSense. I do the SEO properly. None of them have been hit by a Google update. No penalties. No ranking drops during core updates. That doesn't happen by accident.
I don't do full SEO for clients. Just link building. The reason is simple. Doing full SEO for clients takes a lot of time. I work on my own so I can't handle that kind of workload for other people and still maintain my own sites. So I just focused on links. That's what I'm good at and that's what clients keep asking for.
In 2017 I started freelancing on marketplace platforms. That's where my first clients came from. Guest posting, blogger outreach, niche edits. I kept it simple and focused on quality. Clients kept coming back.
But by 2020 the link building side got big enough that keeping it under a general agency didn't make sense anymore. Clients were coming specifically for backlinks and outreach, not for web design or social media.
So I launched LinkAuthor in 2020. Just link building. Guest posting, outreach, editorial placements. Nothing else. Everything I messed up between 2013 and 2017 taught me what not to do. And everything I tested from 2017 onwards is what I actually offer now.
I still run my own sites. I still build links for them. That's what keeps me sharp. I know what works before I touch a client's site. If something doesn't survive a Google update on my own site, I'm not using it on yours.
Times IT still handles the other stuff. Web dev, digital marketing. But LinkAuthor is only about links, outreach, and guest posting. That's it.

Core values
I didn't sit down and write these out one day. These are just how I've been running things since I started doing this work.
-
Be Real
I don't oversell or overpromise. If something isn't working I'll tell you directly. No sugarcoating, no hiding behind reports that look good but mean nothing.
-
Respect Money
Every dollar a client spends matters. I've burned through my own money on bad SEO so I'm careful with yours. That's not going to change.
-
My Responsibility
When I take on your project your site becomes my problem. If the links aren't performing or something looks off, that's on me to figure out and fix.
-
Clean Work
No shady links, no spam, no PBNs. If a tactic could get your site penalized I don't use it. I've learned that lesson already.
-
No Lock-in
I don't do long contracts. If my work isn't helping you can stop anytime. I'd rather keep clients because the work is good, not paperwork.
-
Deliver Results
Clients pay for results, not hours or reports. If links aren't delivering what they should, I look at what's wrong and change it. That's the only way this works.
